The Free Methodist denomination was formed in 1860 from splinter groups of the Methodist Episcopal Church in western New York state and Illinois. The denomination is part of the Holiness movement and can be theologically placed in the Wesleyan tradition. This collection contains yearbooks, minutes, 1989 General Conference records, and some publications.
